Floor Ceiling or Wall Plate, Steel, Chrome Plated, 6" IPS

Chrome plated heavy gauge steel with locking tab and spring inserts for tight fit.  Previously Part#W518

Measurements:

• Inside Diameter - 6 13/16"
• Outside Diameter - 10"
• Depth - 7/16"

Sizes range from 1/2" to 10"

IPS stands for iron pipe size, while CPS stands for copper pipe size. The main difference between the two is how the outside diameter (OD) is controlled: 

IPS: Controlled by the inside diameter (ID). IPS is commonly used in industrial and general piping applications. 
CPS: Controlled by the OD. CPS is commonly used in plumbing and potable water systems.
